Big Brother Naija reality star Omashola Oburoh, popularly known as Omashola, has explained why he sprayed fake money at his wedding.
Following a case of naira abuse which warranted the arrest of crossdresser Bobrisky, Omashola in an Instagram post on Tuesday revealed the reason behind his use of fake money during the event.
The reality star who shared a clip from his wedding reception wrote: “Use me as a poster boy for the EFCC campaign against Naira abuse.
“I remember introducing the facemask in 2020 before the COVID hit Nigeria people been de laugh me.
“Same thing happened in my wedding December 2023, them say i de spray fake money, I tell Una say he get why. Thank God man pikin for don de inside for 6month now.
“Them de learn…#warri.”
Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will on Wednesday, April 17 arraign socialite Pascal Okechukwu aka Cubana Chief Priest for allegedly spraying and tampering with the naira at a social event contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.
Cubana Chief Priest will be arraigned on a three-count charge before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos.
