President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Ayodeji Gbeleyi as the chairman of the board of directors of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.
The president’s spokesman Femi Adesina announced this in a statement on Friday.
Gbeleyi was the commissioner of finance during the Fashola administration in Lagos.
The chartered accountant and associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation is a renowned financial expert who also has knowledge of the aviation sector.
He replaces Adewale Adeeyo who passed on recently.
