Mr Macaroni attacks police after Women’s Day message

Mr Macaroni

Comedian Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni has once again criticised the police following a tweet celebrating policewomen on International Women’s Day.

The police had on Monday posted a picture of some policewomen, describing them as “intelligent, strong, courageous, undaunted and dependable”.

Mr Macaroni retweeted the post adding: “Just go through the quoted tweets and comments here! No amount of packaging and branding can erase the awful and bitter experiences that you people have put your Fellow Nigerians through. Don’t you people have conscience?”

Mr Macaroni was arrested alongside several others during the #OccupyLekki protest in February at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos.

The comedian had since taken to activism following the #EndSARS protest against police brutality and bad governance which shook the country last year.
