Saraki turns 58 as family mourns Dapo Ojora who died at 58

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has turned 58 at a time the family is mourning his in-law Dapo Ojora who died from gunshot wounds at age 58.

Saraki is married to Toyin Saraki younger sister of the deceased.

The two-term ex-Kwara governor and his wife have been quiet about his birthday on social media, as the family is yet to bury Mr Ojora the polo buff and socialite.

Celebrating Saraki on Saturday, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar sent his wishes of good health and more via a tweet.

He wrote: “On behalf of my family, I wish my brother and President of the 8th @NGRSenate, @bukolasaraki a very happy birthday. I also pray many more years for you, in good health, strength and service to God and humanity. Best wishes.”

Saraki and his wife on Thursday attended the service of songs for Ojora.

Held at the Lagos Polo Club, the service of songs attracted other family members, friends and associates of Ojora who died on December 11.

The funeral service for Ojora earlier scheduled for December 18 was postponed to December 22 at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos.
