Diekolola Osa Avielele Cornelius Adebayo daughter dies

Diekolola Osa Avielele, daughter of Second Republic governor of Kwara State, Cornelius Adebayo, has died days after she was delivered of a boy.

Mrs Osa Avielele reportedly died on Thursday, July 16.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, her younger sister, Abimbola Dayo-Adewoye, wrote: “Two days ago, our world came crashing down as an angel left the earth. My sister Deki passed on and left us in great distress. There are five of us girls and my brother, my second sister left our close-knit team of six leaving an unmendable crack.”

She also posted a video of the deceased doing singer Simi’s #dudukechallenge.

Celebrity makeup artist, Banke Meshida Lawal, in a Facebook page on Saturday described news of the death as shattering.

“I’m here asking God questions because this I don’t understand.

“We were to be celebrating and giving testimonies.

“No words. It hurts deep. May God comfort your husband and all your loved ones.

“Goodnight Dieko. Rest in peace,” Banke wrote.

Osa Avielele studied law at the University of Ilorin before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. She subsequently bagged an LLM from Howard University School of Law, Washington DC.

Until her death, she was the MD/CEO of Cedarwood Global Resources Ltd and Dvenue Event Centres.
