Zion Idibia, the second son of music star 2Baba and his baby mama Sunmbo Adeoye, has graduated from secondary school with five academic awards.
His mother Sunmbo shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on Saturday, one week after the graduation ceremony held in Lagos.
“Jesus, we thank you for your blessing that makes us rich and adds no sorrow. A significant milestone in our family,” she wrote.
“Congratulations Zion Idibia for graduating in flying colours. I mean, bagging 5 awards in one day – 4 for academics, 1 for being the absolute best in commerce class of 2025. My son, you didn’t just finish secondary school – you dominated it. Congrats son.”
Zion’s elder brother Nino Idibia, his stepfather Pastor David Adeoye, 2Baba, the singer’s mother Rose Idibia, his daughters Isabella and Olivia, as well as his uncle Charles Idibia, were present at the graduation ceremony.
The family posed for photos and videos which Sunmbo also shared online.
Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in from fans and followers who praised Sunmbo and her husband Pastor Adeoye for raising the children with love and values.
One Instagram user wrote, “A mother’s love. God bless and honour pastor for an exemplary job.”
Another fan commented, “Pastor David Adeoye, a man after God’s heart. You are blessed, sir.”
Sunmbo was previously in a relationship with 2Baba, which produced two sons: Nino and Zion, before she got married to Pastor David Adeoye in 2013.
2Baba also has other children from different women, including his estranged wife Annie Idibia.
