29 or 59? Ogun First Lady Bamidele Abiodun teases followers on birthday

Bamidele Abiodun, wife of Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, stirred reactions on social media as she marked her birthday on Wednesday with a playful message to her followers.

In a post shared on Instagram, the First Lady teased her fans by asking them to guess her age, writing, “29 or 59? God is good all the time.”

The lighthearted post quickly drew responses from friends, celebrities and public figures.

Former chairperson of First Bank, Ibukun Awosika, commented, “Looks like 29 to me. Happy birthday my darling sister and most amiable authentic and giving First Lady. May God bless you today and always.”

Managing director of TVC Entertainment (TVCe) Morayo Afolabi-Brown also joined the celebratory mood, replying, “29!!! Happy birthday Aunt. Many more happy years ahead. Amen.”

Actress Aisha Lawal simply wrote, “Happy birthday mama.”

Mary Akpobome, wife of veteran comedian Ali Baba, added, “Happy birthday to a beautiful (inside & out), humble, kind woman. God’s blessings always. On the age let’s meet in the middle and say 44.”

Governor Dapo Abiodun also took to Instagram to celebrate his wife, praising her for her impact on the lives of women and underprivileged children across the state.

“Dear Bamidele, happy birthday,” he wrote.

“Today, your life has been a blessing to the lives you have touched by your compassion, particularly through programs such as women empowerment and support for less privileged children. May this new chapter bring you joy, renewed strength, and continued fulfillment, all in good health, in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Many happy returns.”

Mrs. Abiodun is known for her advocacy in maternal health, women empowerment and children’s welfare, has served as First Lady of Ogun State since her husband assumed office in 2019.
