Madagascar FA boss, Ahmad Ahmad, just accomplished one of the greatest shocks in football history.

The unheralded administrator stunned everyone on Thursday when he recorded 14 more votes than Issa Hayatou to become the new President of CAF.

Hayatou, 70, was on a mission to retain his seat for the eighth successive time but was repelled by Ahmad, whose country has never qualified for a football tournament of any kind.

As expected, football fans all over the world totally went insane over the outcome of the election held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Here’s how some reacted on Twitter.
