Victor Moses scores against Burnley to end Chelsea Premier League goal drought

Super Eagles forward, Victor Moses, finally ended his Premier League goal drought for Chelsea on Saturday when they thrashed Burnley 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Moses notched the Blues third goal of the game less than eight minutes after coming in for Willian who alongside Eden Hazard were also on target.

He followed up his goal in the English League Cup on Wednesday by beautifully finishing a superb pass from fellow substitute Pedro.

It was the Nigerian’s first strike for the club since November 2012 when he scored against Swansea and the first time in four years he has notched back-to-back goals.

The 25-year-old is reaping the dividends of the trust reposed in him by new Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, after three successive barren loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham.

The Blues are now unbeaten in three Premier League games with nine points.

Former Juventus manager, Conte, hasn’t tasted defeat in 30 successive league home matches as club manager – last suffering defeat in January 2013 against Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A.
