Former beauty queens re-unite at Silverbird 35th anniversary

Silverbird Group, founded by entertainment entrepreneur turned politician, Ben Murray-Bruce, on Saturday celebrated its 35th anniversary at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Among the iconic creations of the showbiz conglomerate is the Most Beautiful Girls in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant and some of those who have won the tiara were at the celebration.

The most successful of them all, Agbani Darego, who went on to become Miss World in 20011, was joined by Omowunmi Akinnifesi, Munachi Abii  and Sylvia Nduka to support the group that gave them a platform to show their beauty.

The event was also attended by top politicians including President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki ; Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade; Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, and Pat Utomi.

Other guests in attendance include Senator Florence Ita Giwa, Basketmouth, Yvonne Ekwere, Daddy Showkey, IK Osakioduwa Tee Mac and Toke Makinwa.
